ABZ Diaper Fasteners - 4 ABZ fasteners are the easiest and safest way to fasten cloth diapers. You can finally toss the pins. As easy as ABZ. One size design is suitable for all sizes of diapers from preemie to adult. You can use one ABZ for a smaller baby and two for a larger diapers. Our leading edge design includes a comfort contour edge for fastening and rounded edges on the back for the safest and most comfortable fit. ABZ fasteners should only be applied by an adult. If you lightly apply a tooth grip fastener such as the ABZ fastener, Boingo or a Snappi on a diaper without attaching it properly, then it is not on correctly and they will not be effective. If you use it properly, it will work correctly. Attach it so the teeth are grabbing into the fabric. The teeth need to grip the fabric with a small amount of tension on them to hold them in place. You should be able to fit one finger under the fastener if it is fastened correctly. Use a cover over the diaper, no matter what brand of fastener you are using, at all times. To extend the life of your diapers, always stretch the fastener to release the grippers from the fabric. Do not pull straight up on them or yank the grippers out of the fabric. Releasing the gripper with a slight outward stretch will release the fabric properly and not cause damage. WARNING: ABZ fasteners should only be fastened by a responsible adult. Carefully check your ABZ fastener prior to use for any signs of wear, or damage. Discontinue use and recycle your ABZ fastener if it shows signs of damage or wear. Use of a damaged fastener could lead to product failure, posing a potential choking hazard for littles if the plastic piece is dislodged, or becomes separated.
