Installing our 3M PE foam-taped child safety locks for doors is a breeze. Without screws and nails, you can easily attach these child locks to surfaces while keeping your furniture and fixtures in pristine condition.
How to Install:
We suggest installing these cabinet safety locks for toddlers after dinner, when kids are sleeping. Adhesive will fully adhere to the surface after 24 hours.
Determine the best suitable location to install. If possible, install out of reach of children. Surface should be clean and dry.
Remove Part A and adjust the strap length. Once length has been decided, slide Part A until you hear a click sound.
Remove adhesive backing and firmly press latch to the surface. While installing, do not touch adhesive tape once backing has been removed. Do not reuse adhesive tape, since reattaching will make adhesive strength weak.
To open the lock, slide Part B to the right and pull it towards you. To lock, press Part B in the mount. Make sure not to unlock the latch right in front of the child. Toddlers over 18 months pick up very easily once they see you unlocking the latch.
How to Remove:
To remove these cabinet child safety locks, simply heat the adhesive using a hairdryer and wipe the excess residue with a soft fabric soaked in soapy water. This leaves your furniture scratchless.
