  • A salve is a concentrated healing ointment, a little goes a long way. Free of alcohol, water, emulsifiers and synthetic preservatives, we use this salve for nearly all of our family's skin care needs. Eczema, dry patches, cracked heels, makeup remover, drawing splinters.
  • Calendula Salve is a paraben free calendula cream that was formulated for those looking for a simple yet effective salve. Coconut free and containing only 2 herbs, it is simpler than our top selling Touchy Skin Salve, which makes it perfect for those with sensitivities to coconut and various herbs. Because it does not contain comfrey it is a more appropriate drawing salve than Touchy Skin Salve as well.
  • As in all of our products, Calendula Salve is water free and therefore water activated. For use as a deep soothing moisturizer, add a few drops of water and blend in hand before applying.
  • Clinically tested. Cortisone free, Chemical Free, Fragrance free, paraben free, petrolatum free, synthetic free, gluten free and cruelty free. Ora's Amazing Herbal is a woman owned business, we make our products in our own registered facility in the USA.

This salve is similar to our All Purpose Salve except for three very significant differences, making it appropriate for those with super sensitive and irritated skin. 1 Touchy Skin Salve has no essential oils added, just to make sure to avoid any irritation that a scent may cause. A good smell will reveal the earthy presence of herbs, coconut oil, and beeswax, and nothing else. 2 This salve has castor oil added, to give it extra emollient and soothing properties. 3 Touchy Skin Salve contains organic licorice root added to the oil infusion. Licorice contains glycyrrhizic acid, which helps optimize the natural cortisol produced by the body in response to inflammation, as in the case with eczema. Although developed as an eczema treatment, we love this salve for all things skin, from eczema to simple dry elbows, to makeup removal. We love our Touchy Skin Salve and know that you will too!
