- There are two sides in the game: protecting the king and catching the king.
- There are two kinds of pieces for protecting the king: N pawns and 1 king.
- There is only one chess game to capture Wang Fang: 2N pawns.
- Arrange the pieces before the game. The king who protects the king will be placed in the middle square, surrounded by his pawns. The king-catching party is usually placed on the periphery of the chessboard.
- Each side has a son in turn.
- All chess moves are to move any number of squares in the vertical and horizontal directions to the point where there are no chess pieces, and there must be no pieces in the middle.
- No pawn can stop in the middle square.
- There is a way to capture different pieces:
- Clamping: When your own side takes the initiative to have two pawns sandwiching an enemy pawn, it captures the opponent’s pawn.
- Surrounding: When your own side takes the initiative to surround an enemy king with four pieces, it will capture the opponent's piece.
- The two sides have different victory conditions:
