Indigo is the tall Shrub of legume family cultivated all over the world since century. Dry leaves powder of this shrub is used as natural indigo dye to color cloths blue and hair black (with Henna).
🍀Can I use Indigo powder alone to blacken my hair?
No, Indigo won't stick to hair to impart the color.Indigo will need base of Henna dye to stick to hair and impart brownish toblack tone.
🍀Is this powder fermented indigo?
No, Our powder is made by grinding the dry leaf of indigo plant. It Is not fermented and hence do not turn indigo blue in color immediately after mixing.
🍀What should I Keep in mind whileusing Henna Powder?
It is for external use only.
Indigo needs liquid/water and oxygen to release the dye.
Indigo paste start releasing dye immediately, so it is not advisable to keep paste sit for longer time (as opposed to henna) before application. Apply paste on hair within 30-40 minutes of paste preparation.
Longer the Indigo stays on Hair, deeper will be the color shade. To get the darker black shade, keep Indigo for at least 3 hours before washing with water.
Do not use shampoo for 72 hours after Henna application.
It can cause irritation of the eyes. If direct contact occur, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of cold water.
Use the airtight container to store the powder, avoid moisture contamination
