At its lower end, the CLARIS filter cartridge also has a depot with natural active ingredients that stabilize the water in the tank and thus reduce limescale deposits in the area of the tank bottom. This works completely without any additional energy or action, only through the natural movement of the water in the tank, through which it always flows lightly through the depot. As before, the upper part of the CLARIS filter cartridge for coffee preparation filters exactly the amount of water needed for a perfect cup of coffee by means of ion exchange and activated carbon in the upflow principle.
Thanks to RFID technology, the fully automatic machine also detects whether a filter is inserted and automatically activates the correct mode. It continuously collects information on filter usage and reports when the capacity is exhausted.
