*Before turning off the soldering station, do not remove excess solder from the solder iron tip . This excess solder protects the tin-plated surface from oxidation during reheating.
* Avoid using solder with anti-seize properties (screw head) as it may affect the functionality of the soldering iron. If seizing occurs, remove the soldering iron tip while it is still hot.
* To prevent seizing, periodically detach the soldering iron tip from the handle.
* It is recommended to use distilled water for dampening the cleaning sponge as tap water contains minerals that can corrode the soldering iron tip .

* When soldering, use neutral and active flux whenever possible. Clean the soldering iron with a soldering sponge dampened with water; do not use cloth.
* Keep the working surface coated with solder at all times. Wipe it clean only before each use and immediately reapply solder after finishing.
