The newest member of our tailoring family, the TR16 Fractional Tailor’s Tape is the most easy-to-use tailor’s tape we’ve ever made.
We printed the inch fractions right on the tape.
So there is no more counting, and no more eye or neck strain from trying to read small measurements. The fractional inches are easily discerned because the fractions are written clearly beside their corresponding graduation marks.
This tape, like all tailor’s tapes in our TR16 line, is 5/8″ wide and features large, easy-to-read inch measurements on one side (down to 1/16″) along with clear inch fractions indicated down to eighths of inches on one side, and split-scale inches and metric (down to mm) on the opposite side.
The TR16 tailor’s tape is slightly wider (by 3mm) than our TR13 tailor’s tape. It is perfect for tailoring, sewing, or tracking fitness and dieting results. Also fits perfectly in a traveling sewing kit. All our tailors' tapes are made of durable yet soft, wear-resistant, and non-stretch vinyl-coated fiberglass with metal end pieces. They are designed to remain soft and flexible while maintaining accuracy and standing up to long periods of tailoring and other uses.
