Our products are great for anyone, but made specifically for people sensitive to peanuts, tree nuts and seeds. Carefully hand-made on dedicated equipment, our “nut” butters are unique, tasty and full of flavor.

Do you test to confirm there are no peanuts, tree nuts, seeds or gluten in the products?

We are a very small business and cannot afford to batch test at this time. We hope to grow and be able to do that in the near future. We do everything we can to keep out contamination and use dedicated equipment only used for making ROOTS Tigernut Butter.

Do you really use dedicated allergen-free equipment?

Yes. We have food sensitivities/allergies ourselves and know how important it is to keep contamination from happening. In addition, we never allow any form of gluten or peanuts in the facility at all.

Do your products need refrigerated?

No. However, for best shelf life we recommend refrigerating and eating within 90 days of purchase. Without refrigeration use within 2 weeks.

What makes ROOTS different?

Our products are the only “nut” butters available without tree nuts, seeds, soy or peanuts. Additionally, we don’t cut quality by using inflammatory seed oils and use premium 100% Avocado oil.
