SUPER EASY STEPS
★ Step 1: Draw or trace any design on the Shrinky Krafts paper. Use the markers included for best result but acrylic paint, colored pencils, and other permanent markers work well! Do not used water-based colors.
★ Step 2: Using regular scissors, cut out the design. Try to make rounder edges as opposed to sharp edges to prevent your end result from being pointy.
★ Step 3: If you're planning on making a key chain, use a hole punch to make a small hole for the ring to go through. If not, skip this step.
★ Step 4: Preheat oven to 325° Fahrenheit.
★ Step 5: Place artwork on parchment paper or cooking sheet and allow it to bake for 3-5 minutes. They will fully shrink when the edges begin to twist and curl.
Adult supervision is REQUIRED while baking!
*For better and longer lasting charms, use gloss, varnish, or resin to add extra shine and volume. This will keep them coated to prevent breaking while in your pocket or backpack.*
