- Generally, the distance between the push button and the control box of the gate opener should be within 65 feet (20m). It is recommended to install the button on the same side of the control board and away from any metal structure.
- Please place the TC173 push button in a weatherproof environment for long-lasting performance, as it is NOT waterproof.
- For clear signal transmission, please do not put the control board in a metal box. It is NOT suggested to use the wireless push button at signal towers, electrical substations and confined spaces. Some buildings or obstructions may affect the control range.
- To extend the control range, it is recommended to pull the antenna out of the control box, or add an ERM12 receiver (sold separately) to the control board.
- The LED on the push button indicates RF transmission. If the control range decreases greatly or the LED is off when the button is pressed, the batteries need to be replaced.
